Life does not stop!!!

Well, since my last blog the kids have all started school and have started out pretty good. Elisabeth is putting forth more effort to get better grades this year and is in the 5th grade. It does not seem possible that she is old enough to be in 5th grade. She is growing into beautiful young lady and got her own cell phone a couple of months ago so she thinks she is all that now. Crystal is doing good she has found that she has to work for her A's a little harder this year being in 3rd grade now, but she is still getting them. She is working for the Red Bird Tickets again this year, the kids enjoy going to the game with my Grandfather and it is special for him also. Alex is in Kindergarten this year and has discovered he has lots of boys to play with on our street now so he never wants to be home he is always trying to run to someone elses house. Maria is talking a mile a minute now and never stops, she thinks she is the boss and the sad part is that she is most of the time. The next hurdle is gettin her potty trained and that is a chore.

I have also decided to finish school and get my bachelors in Human Service Managment. I started school several weeks ago and have finished my first class already. I am doing great and have met some new friends that have become my team mates for two classes we get along wonderfully and looks like we get to take a few more classes together. I guess the stress of everything is getting to me so my doctor put me back on Zoloft to balance out my hormons so I don't snap at everyone so much. I did not really want to do it, but I see that I need it and it is helping. Well, that is all for now I will update this again in a few weeks.

Well, I guess all good things have to come to an end. I was able to spend the last week and half with my little brother Brandon Lee Ragan. It was like I had known him my whole life. We had a wonderful two weeks and putting him on the train on Sunday morning was hard, even though I know we will see each other in less than a month. I am so glad I found him and can only hope he knows how much I love him. The kids had a hard time letting him go also, they thought he should stay forever. Joy cried and Maria searched the whole house for her Uncle Bandon. She has been asking for him daily. We had a wonderful time spending with him and I am amazed at home much we look alike, even though there are 9 years difference in our ages. Dad was here for a couple of weeks in June also and the kids did not want to see him go either. Then on Friday we went to Pappy and Bonnie's house so Brandon could see his Grandpa, we had a wonderful time visiting with them and it was great to have all of us to gether for once. I don't have to wonder anymore where my baby brother is, because I know where he is.

What a week!

Well, the week started out a little busy, but nothing I could not handel. The as the week came to and end I find that I can't catch up. It could be caused by heading to St. Charles, MO tomorrow to graduate with the University of Phoenix. The best thing that happend this week is I found my brother Brandon Lee Ragan, and the best part is he is just as happy as I am. I have never met him and he is going to be coming to Bloomington to see me and Dad this week. Please keep him in your prayers as things have not been easy for him. I will give more details in a while, but not sure when or what I will be able to share with everyone. I just know I found my baby brother and he is glad I did. The Lord answers prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it was an eventful weekend I guess. Friday night my handsome hubby took me to Logan's for supper just he and I without the kids. After we stopped at Gordmans and did some shopping. Then we picked up the kids from Jessica's house and Maria got to drive as you can see in the picture, and yes she was stering the van while daddy did the gas and break. She is not a bad driver for 2 years old. She thought it was awesome, mind you Jessica lives just down the street from us in the same trailer park.

Sunday we had a great service at church, while the remodling has started, and things look a little bare in the church. When we they are done it will work much better for us, and we will have lots more room for Sunday school. June 14 we are having our Grand Opening, and everyone is welcome to come. I believe God is going to use us to do a great work in Bloomington/Normal.

Then today I took Alex for his eye exam for Kindergarten, then week took the rest of the paper work to school and he is all registered for Kindergarten, Wow!!!!!!! He will be 5 June 14, and is really excited about Kindergarten. I also saw the eye doctor this morning, because my eyes have been bothering me, to find out that they are irritated because I don't change my contacts when I should. So now I am stuck with my glasses for a few days, and I will tell you that they are too small and hurt my head, but I will be happy that my eyes will be fine in a few days.

Well, I think that is all for now

A little about me!

Well, for now I am a stay at home mom for my four wonderful children. I also help my best friend Jessica with her daughter Kirstin who has juvinial diabetis since the age of 3 1/2. Kirstin (on the left) is 13 and has an attitude, but I love her like she was my own. She is a big help to me when she wants to be, and all of my children love her. I am thankful to have a friend like Jessica who is always there for me when I need her.

It is hard to believe that in two weeks my baby girl will be 2!!!! She is a ham and does not know a stranger. Then a couple of weeks after that Alex turns 5 and starts Kindergarten in the fall. He is really excited and does not understand why he can't go now.

My oldest Elisabeth is my sweet one and has a true love for the Lord, and for others. She is growning into a beautiful young lady, and will be in the 5th grade in the fall! It is hard to believe that she will be a teenager in just a few years.

Then there is Crystal Faith, she has asthma and severe allergies, but has enough energy to last a lifetime. If I could only bottle it I would be rich. She is the one that has an attitude and I struggle to understand at times. She can be a lady, but would rather be playing, doing gymnastics, or beating somthing up.

Each one of my children are different, but I love them with my whole heart and thank the Lord everyday that he gave me each one of them.
