Well, it was an eventful weekend I guess. Friday night my handsome hubby took me to Logan's for supper just he and I without the kids. After we stopped at Gordmans and did some shopping. Then we picked up the kids from Jessica's house and Maria got to drive as you can see in the picture, and yes she was stering the van while daddy did the gas and break. She is not a bad driver for 2 years old. She thought it was awesome, mind you Jessica lives just down the street from us in the same trailer park.

Sunday we had a great service at church, while the remodling has started, and things look a little bare in the church. When we they are done it will work much better for us, and we will have lots more room for Sunday school. June 14 we are having our Grand Opening, and everyone is welcome to come. I believe God is going to use us to do a great work in Bloomington/Normal.

Then today I took Alex for his eye exam for Kindergarten, then week took the rest of the paper work to school and he is all registered for Kindergarten, Wow!!!!!!! He will be 5 June 14, and is really excited about Kindergarten. I also saw the eye doctor this morning, because my eyes have been bothering me, to find out that they are irritated because I don't change my contacts when I should. So now I am stuck with my glasses for a few days, and I will tell you that they are too small and hurt my head, but I will be happy that my eyes will be fine in a few days.

Well, I think that is all for now

A little about me!

Well, for now I am a stay at home mom for my four wonderful children. I also help my best friend Jessica with her daughter Kirstin who has juvinial diabetis since the age of 3 1/2. Kirstin (on the left) is 13 and has an attitude, but I love her like she was my own. She is a big help to me when she wants to be, and all of my children love her. I am thankful to have a friend like Jessica who is always there for me when I need her.

It is hard to believe that in two weeks my baby girl will be 2!!!! She is a ham and does not know a stranger. Then a couple of weeks after that Alex turns 5 and starts Kindergarten in the fall. He is really excited and does not understand why he can't go now.

My oldest Elisabeth is my sweet one and has a true love for the Lord, and for others. She is growning into a beautiful young lady, and will be in the 5th grade in the fall! It is hard to believe that she will be a teenager in just a few years.

Then there is Crystal Faith, she has asthma and severe allergies, but has enough energy to last a lifetime. If I could only bottle it I would be rich. She is the one that has an attitude and I struggle to understand at times. She can be a lady, but would rather be playing, doing gymnastics, or beating somthing up.

Each one of my children are different, but I love them with my whole heart and thank the Lord everyday that he gave me each one of them.
